All outings involving the out of school club must be agreed first by the management committee. No outing or activity will be agreed by the committee without insurance cover and it must follow all insurers’ recommendations

Normally there will be a ratio of 1 adult to 5 children

According to the nature of the outing/activity and the age and ability of the children the ratio will be increased as deemed necessary by the play leader and management committee after assessing potential risks to health and safety. (In some case, for some children this may mean a ratio of 1:1.)
